Welcome to The Ferns Primary Academy. We’re very pleased you have stopped by!
We’re a one form entry primary school in the heart of the Fernhill community in Farnborough. This means we are a relatively small school with only one class per year group. We became part the of Kite Academy Trust in June 2019 and are continuing our exciting journey as part of the Kite Academy family of schools. Please take a few moments to look at our latest Ofsted report, in which we have been judged 'Good' in all areas for the first time in the schol's history.

Our goal is to empower our young people to develop the knowledge, skills and resilience to flourish, thrive and become respectful, kind, members of society.
We believe learning should be fun so work hard to provide an inspiring, engaging curriculum built around our core Kite PIRRA values of: Positivity, Integrity, Respect, Resilience and Aspiration.
But, above all, we offer a supportive, encouraging environment that values effort and recognises that it is the learning journey, not just the final destination that is important. Personal and social development is recognised, valued and celebrated as much as academic achievement.

We are so proud of our academy and warmly invite new families to visit us to experience first-hand the welcoming, inclusive and encouraging learning environment we offer. We are holding Reception open afternoons on the following dates between 1.30 and 2.30pm:

Friday 24th October
Tuesday 11th November
Tuesday 9th December
Friday 12th December
Friday 23rd January
Additionally, we are also offering open mornings between 10.30am and 11.30am on the following dates:
Wednesday 15th October
Wednesday 12th November
Monday 8th December
Finally, there will be an open evening for prospective parents on Thursday 20th November between 6pm and 7pm.
