Kite Assessment

At The Ferns Primary Academy, we use the Kite Assessment System.  This system takes the whole child into account including attendance, behaviour, rewards and academic progress.

Please view an example of the reading, writing and maths objectives from the National Curriculum for each year group.  You will notice that these sheets are titled with a stage.  The stage correlates to the year group. E.g. stage 1 – Year 1.  By the end of the year, most children will be 'securing' which is the age-related expectation.
